Brown Cow was ready for a refresh that brought to life its rich, creamy experience.

The problem: Born in upstate New York in 1973 by a couple of free-spirited founders and their Jersey cow, Lily, Brown Cow has always stood for indulgence. But after more than eight years on shelf, the previous packaging wasn’t telling that story—or delivering on the rich, creamy experience inside.

The solution: Partnering with Lactalis US Yogurt, we created a modern, friendly interpretation of Lily the Cow. Across packaging and activations, we brought to life the experience of eating Brown Cow yogurt. Paired with fresh photography, a creamy background, and a pop of color, it’s a consumer favorite reimagined for the present day.

The thinking: Lily the Cow was brought to life with a custom, hand-drawn illustration. Paired with the custom typography in the logo, Lily invites shoppers into Brown Cow’s world: one that’s richer, creamier, and impossible to ignore. Because when your roots are this real—glass bottles, cream on top, and all—you don’t just tell a story. You serve it.
